CHIMP DRANK: ECHOES BELOW

There’s no signal down here. No bars. No messages. Just the slow drip of water echoing through a cavern that stretches for miles, deeper than anyone should ever go. They say it was once a research site—some underground lab hidden beneath the surface, experimenting on sound, on darkness, maybe even on us. No one really knows. All that’s left are the ruins, and the things that roam them.

You came here out of curiosity. Maybe survival. Maybe something pulled you in. Now, you're stuck in the belly of the mountain with nothing but your hands, your courage, and your silence.

Each level of the cave is a maze. Giant chambers carved out by machines or something older. You search for buttons, always buttons. Hidden behind slabs of stone, under rotting floor tiles, near scratched-up warning signs. Pressing one means progress. Progress means new areas. And new areas mean new monsters.

They’re not human. They never were. You hear them before you see them—metal scraping rock, low growls behind vents, breathing where there should be none. Their eyes shine red in the dark. They crawl, they sprint, they mimic. Some just stand and watch. You’ll swear they were closer each time you blink.

Cosmetics are scattered around—hats, masks, strange gear left behind by the unlucky. They offer nothing but style and a strange comfort, like you're still a person, not prey. Some say they belonged to previous explorers. Some say they were trophies.

The cave shifts. It feels alive. Walls hum with power. Rooms change when you’re not looking. And always, somewhere in the distance, there’s a sound—something big, dragging itself across stone. Watching. Waiting.

You can’t call for help. You can’t go back. You find a button, move to the next level, and hope the monster doesn’t follow. That’s the loop. That’s the game. But this isn’t just a game.
